Celebrity Spotting

We just spent most of last week in Long Beach and Los Angeles. It was a great week, with great weather, great racing and lots of stars. The Long Beach race is a crazy atmosphere and a great time. We took tons of pictures over the weekend – on-track action, pit lane activity, fans shots, driver photos and lots more. The celebs were also in attendance, out and about throughout the week, and here’s my celebrity recap from the weekend. I probably missed someone, but I figured you would let me know. So here’s a quick recap.

Musician/Producer David Foster and his foundation were involved at the Long Beach GP with Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing and Hideki Mutoh’s IndyCar. Check out the pic below.

I’m not a hockey fan, but I feel like I should be. Here’s Teemu Selanne hanging out with FAZZT Race Team principals Jason Priestley and Jim Freudenberg.

Mark Wahlberg (along with Puff Daddy) made it out to the IZOD Race to the Party event in Hollywood, but he also made time to visit race day with his family, to act as Grand Marshall. Here he is visiting Andretti Autosport and Marco’s setup area.

I loved The Darjeeling Limited, so imagine my surprise seeing Adrian Brody in Long Beach for the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race. He had a good run in the race and enjoyed some laughs onstage with Brian Austin Green, Zachery Levy and Jimmy Vasser. He’s an Oscar winner!

Other sightings included Tony Hawk, Adam Carolla, and Keanu Reeves. Unfortunately, I somehow missed Giada de Laurentis!

If you were in Long Beach and saw someone, let us know. And if you were at the track and took photos, please add them to our Long Beach Flickr group. And, if you want a fans perspective from the race, check out Chic Runner’s blog post. See you in LBC next year.

Spent the entire weekend there. Show brought some much needed excitement to So. Cal. Can’t wait to see the Kansas race then of course the big one at Indy!
