Have you ever been on vacation or visited a place so stunning or picturesque, that it’s almost impossible to take a bad photo?
Not to take away from the work of our professional photographers that work in the IZOD IndyCar Series, but at Barber Motorsports Park, I really do think it’s hard to take a bad photo.
It’s beautiful, with rolling hills, a manicured landscape, a museum and a scattering of art installations.
Fans on TV or in attendance, get to see super fast Indy car’s weave through this perfectly constructed wonderland. I love this shot of Vitor with the blue skies, sun flare and the braking zone.
Or you can see cars on track from a new perspective – surrounded by greenery, nature, trees and the signs of Spring. The red of Scott Dixon really pops.
And as a fan, you get to see race cars enter corners like a train on a track, while sitting in a camping chair – and maybe a beer.
So, I’m biased towards Barber Motorsports Park in terms of beauty. But that’s not to say their aren’t other stunning race tracks out there. What are some of your favorites?

Motors sports at the highest level … George Barber has the palace, the pinnacle of racing!
Yes the Alabama track is a great looking facility and the Barber family are to be proud of their facility.
KEEP IT BETWEEN THE FENCES !
