With regards to the article of what to do with the current cars after this season- what about having a contest to award one to a fan? I would not mind have one in the garage!! The prize package would not have to include a engine or a bunch of spares, but a retired car would make a HECK of an addition to the mancave! Another idea would be to raffle a few of them to support some charity. C’mon Indycar- make my day!
your fining of will powers for his visual comments to your race directors stupidity is just as stupid as your race director restarting the race in worse rain than they threw the caution for. you are responsible for tearing up several cars. I have attended a few races but wont anymore untill you fire your race directors!
Great great event thoroughly enjoyed my first Indycar experience and will definitely return to Baltimore next year. It was the first time for the event and glitches were to be expected, but I have to say I encountered no problems. In fact, I left my paddock passes in NY and the Customer Service people were kind enough to print new ones for me at no extra charge. The racing was great, exciting, intense and colorful. The crowds were enthusiastic, well behaved and numerous, which added to the excitement of the event. All in all a sensational weekend and a great experience!
