HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HELIO
On May 10, three-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves turned 41 years old. To celebrate, he responded to each and every birthday greeting he received from fans on Twitter—all 594 of them (at least, that’s how many @DaveFurst counted). From all of us here at IndyCar, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HELIO!
Pippa Mann appeared on Forbes.com this week—the first of several stories about the tenacious Brit and fan favorite. In this installment, Pippa talks women in racing, praises her latest sponsor (BrevaGENplus, a breast cancer test) and assesses her chances in this year’s Indy 500.

THE GREATEST SPECTACLE IN PRANKING
Welcome to the Month of May at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Greatest Spectacle in … Pranking? The first victim: James Hinchcliffe, who discovered the hard way that hooligans had stolen the toilet seat from his RV. But fear not: A fan has already offered to pimp out Hinch’s potty with a brand-new Night Glow toilet seat. When it glows, it flows!
It's our 1st day in the buses @IMS and already the pranks have started. To the brave soul that unscrewed and stole my toilet seat: It's on.
