I usually like to start the week with a blog post about Flickr. In this post, I thought I’d do some research and let you know if any of our IndyCar teams are using the Flickr world. We’re not the only ones that take lots of photographs over the course of a season and I found a few examples for you. Check out what some of the teams are doing.
KV Racing Technology, is incredibly active on Flickr with hundreds of images. Here’s a cool shot of E.J. Viso getting fitted in the new 2012 Safety Cell from Dallara. They cover all kinds of things through imagery.
Many IZOD IndyCar Series drivers bring their favorite foods with them while on the road, which partly is why you’re more apt to get an autograph/photo while shopping in the organic produce section of Whole Foods than a local hamburger joint.
Such meal plans allow for drivers to eat when they’re hungry, more likely to stick to their diet and consume health-conscious items that they enjoy. For E.J. Viso, one of his favorites is sardines. Check out the video as the KV Racing Technology driver from Venezuela explains.
Girl power is the name of the game, or in this case the race.
There are a record five female drivers entered in the Indianapolis 500, and a handful of women work behind the scenes for teams and manufacturers in the IZOD IndyCar Series.
Anna Chatten, a gearbox technician for KV Racing Technology, is one with occasionally greasy hands.
